Chewie grew up in an eastern suburb of Cleveland, OH called Solon. While at IU, Chewie majored in CIS and Operations Management, plus an extended study of hops and barley. He had considered majoring in Nintendo or Sega, but Indiana simply wasn't up to the task of offering that course of study at the time.

Chewie lived nearly all of his college life with fellow 406er Pip. They roomed together second semester freshman year in Teter Thompson, and the rest, as they say, is history.

After his time at 406, Chewie graduated and moved to the Washington, D.C. area with his wife Amanda. He has since moved back to the Cleveland area and works as Site Conversion Manager for Things Remembered.
