Pip came to IU after growing up in the Amish town of Walkaroosa (actually Wakarusa), Indiana. Wet behind the ears and dry between the legs, he forged through his youth to make his way down to Bloomington. He majored in nothing for 2 years, Education for about 15 minutes, and finally decided to go into the Business School in pursuit of a CIS (Computer Information Systems) degree. He currently lives on the north side of Indianapolis.

An avid music fan, he has played guitar since his days in the dorms. Music interests include Live, Jackopierce, Oasis, Counting Crows, Dave Matthews Band, and of course the almighty Van Halen.
