I started doing these “Best of” recaps back in 2010. I don’t blog nearly as often as I’d like to but I really do enjoy looking back at these year-in-review posts. It’s always interesting to see what posts make the list and to see if there are posts that prevail through the years.
For 3 years running, my list of Top 80?s Action Movies has held the top spot on this list. Will it hold onto the #1 spot this year or will another take over? It’s time to find out…

#10 – Dick Vitale – Please Just Go Away
This one fell from #7 last year but stayed on the list which makes me very happy. It’s a very short post that I wrote way back in 2009 but its longevity proves that I’m not the only one that can’t stand Dick Vitale. Boom baby!
#9 – Top 80’s Action Movies
It was a fall from grace this year as the post that held the top spot for 3 years running tumbled all the way to #9 on this year’s list.
#8 – Katie Morgan @ The 2006 AVN Show
An attachment makes the top 10??? Well… when it’s of the beautiful (porn) star Katie Morgan the answer is yes. And don’t be surprised if you see Katie return further down the list.
#7 – My Commercial Series Char-Broil Grill
My grill died last spring. It was rusted out and had flames shooting out the front. This post chronicled some of the issues that I was dealing with before biting the bullet and getting a new Weber grill.
#6 – Got Snow? Snow Removal Scam
I’m thrilled that this is on the list because it means the word is getting out on these scammers. I got screwed over by The Snowplow Guys way back in 2008 and ever since I’ve been spreading the word. He keeps changing his name… I keep fighting.

Katie returns from the same show and the same “photo shoot”. I’m not quite sure what to say that won’t make me sound like a complete pig.
#4 – Honestly? The Doggie Doo?
Up from #8 on last year’s list. It’s a toy dog that poops. Seriously? This one seems to get quite a few hits late in the year. Guessing it’s cause folks buy it for the kids for Christmas. Sucks for them.

The Elf on the Shelf an ingenious little tool parents use to keep control of their children’s behavior around the holidays. But what happens when you LOSE your elf?
#2 – The WrestleMania 29 Drinking Game
On last year’s list at position 2 was the WrestleMania 28 version of our drinking game. It seems that folks love hearing about The Beeramid and the rules we use. #1 – The Debacle That Is TNA’s Aces & Eights Angle
A post that I wrote in January of 2013 snags top honors this year. This was about a wrestling angle (story line) that I absolutely hated. It went on for WAY too long and in the end was pretty much “bleh” with a couple of standout moments.
I wrote 45 posts this past year which falls short of my unofficial goal of once a week. Last year I knocked out 56 and in 2011 I was writing at an amazing clip of 75 posts. I’ll try to do a much better job in 2014 as there’s a LOT on my mind!
