Episode #72 Overview
After spending the last several episodes in a galaxy far, far away, Chewie and Pip are changing things up and returning to one of the interests that helped form their friendship in the first place: video games.
Way back in Episode #27, the guys counted down their five favorite video games of all time. This time, they’re expanding those lists and revealing their picks from #6 through #10.
The conversation spans decades of gaming and just about every platform imaginable, from classic arcade cabinets and the Atari 2600 to PC gaming, Nintendo, PlayStation, mobile games, and the Nintendo Switch. Along the way, Chewie and Pip revisit college memories of Super Tecmo Bowl tournaments, Warcraft II, SimCity 2000, and Hot Shots Golf, while also discussing modern favorites including God of War, Batman: Arkham Knight, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
They also share honorable mentions including Super Metroid, BurgerTime, Pitfall!, and Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and discover that putting together a list like this mostly makes them want to find more time to play video games again.
