Every Journey Has a Beginning
I’d heard rumblings but if I’m being honest I either A) didn’t think it would really happen or B) forgot about it.
The first trailer for Bumblebee (2018) just dropped and it shows the loveable Bee in all his Generation 1 Volkswagen Beetle glory.
Bumblebee is directed by Travis Knight and written by Christina Hodson. It is centered around the titular character and a prequel to the events of the Transformers film series. It will star Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker, Kenneth Choi, Gracie Dzienny, Rachel Crow and Pamela Adlon.
This is the first film in the live-action Transformers series not to be directed by Michael Bay, though he will act as producer, and is scheduled to be released on December 21, 2018.
I feel like I’m one of the few folks around that great up with Generation 1 and still enjoys the live action Transformers stuff. What do you think… are you excited for this prequel?
