In Person Royal Ramble – 411 From 406 – Episode 66
Recorded Live In Indianapolis: January 28th, 2022
Episode Overview
For the first time ever, Chewie and Pip record the 411 From 406 face-to-face.
After nearly two years of podcasting remotely (thanks, COVID), the guys finally sit down together in Indianapolis the night before the Royal Rumble — and it’s exactly what this podcast was always meant to be.
They break down:
- WWE Royal Rumble predictions
- Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley
- Roman Reigns’ title run and WrestleMania speculation
- The state of WWE babyfaces
- Johnny Knoxville in the Rumble (why?)
- Women’s Rumble picks
- And a deep dive into Scream (2022) and whether the franchise should finally be put to rest
It’s wrestling. It’s horror movies. It’s brotherly banter. And it’s the 411 From 406 the way it was always envisioned — in person.
🎙 Royal Rumble Preview
Chewie and Pip go match-by-match through the announced card:
- Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley
- Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
- Becky Lynch vs. Doudrop
- Edge & Beth Phoenix vs. The Miz & Maryse
- Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumbles
They debate:
- Does Lesnar retain?
- Is Roman on a collision course with The Rock?
- Who is the next legitimate WWE babyface?
- Could Kevin Owens be a sleeper Rumble winner?
- Why celebrity entries (looking at you, Johnny Knoxville) kill the mystique.
Plus: Charlotte Flair predictions, Ronda Rousey rumors, and the current state of WWE storytelling.
🎬 Scream (2022) Review
The guys pivot into horror territory with a spoiler-heavy breakdown of Scream (2022).
Topics include:
- The “requel” concept
- Legacy characters vs. new cast
- Whether the franchise still matters
- Is Scream 5 better than Scream 4?
- Should they bring back Stu?
- Is it finally okay to let this series end?
They explore whether the Scream franchise still resonates with younger audiences — or if it only works for fans who grew up with Freddy, Jason, and Michael Myers.
Final Thoughts
This episode is pure 411 From 406 energy:
- In-person chaos
- Late-night recording vibes
- Wrestling fantasy booking
- Horror franchise therapy
It’s raw. It’s fun. And it’s long overdue.

Episode 66 – In Person Royal Ramble
The 411 From 406
Recorded: January 28th, 2022
🎙 First In-Person Recording
Chewie:
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen — this is the 4-1-1 from 4-0-6. My name is Chewie, and I’m joined once again by my brother from another mother, Mr. Pip. How are you, sir?
Pip:
I’m doing fantastic. After about six or seven false starts, this is the moment I’ve been waiting for for so long. We are finally podcasting live in front of each other. It is the moment I’ve been waiting for. I’m super pumped about this.
Chewie:
This is the second podcast to hit the feed in 2022. I posted the first one earlier today. I recorded it maybe ten days ago, and candidly I wanted to listen to myself on the drive. But now I’m actually face-to-face with my brother in Indianapolis. I can’t even remotely begin to describe how excited I am to be back home in Indiana.
Pip:
It’s great to have you here. It’s not technically your home, but you did spend a couple of years here. Very glad to have you back and to finally do this in person.
Chewie:
We started this podcast at the beginning of COVID. This — right here — is what I always envisioned it to be. Sitting down together, talking about whatever. Movies. Wrestling. Anything.
🏟 Royal Rumble Preview
Chewie:
Tomorrow night, we’re watching the Royal Rumble. WrestleMania is my favorite event of the year, but Royal Rumble is a close second.
Pip:
It’s the start of WrestleMania season. It has stakes. It’s the beginning of the Road to WrestleMania. Everything from January through April matters.
Chewie:
I haven’t been following storylines closely. I watch the pay-per-views, but not much in between. I don’t even fully know what we’re dealing with tomorrow.
Pip:
The Rumble itself is what matters most. Thirty competitors. One winner. A guaranteed title shot at WrestleMania.
💪 Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley
Chewie:
The first big match is Brock Lesnar defending the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley.
That’s two mammoth human beings.
Pip:
I think Lashley might take it. I don’t see Lesnar holding the title through WrestleMania.
Chewie:
I don’t think Lesnar comes to WrestleMania and loses. If he’s losing, maybe it happens here. But I don’t see him long-term as champion.
👑 Roman Reigns & WrestleMania Speculation
Chewie:
Roman Reigns is defending the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins.
I think Roman holds the title through WrestleMania.
Pip:
They’re clearly all-in on Roman as a heel champion. The problem is — who’s the babyface big enough to take the belt off him?
Chewie:
They don’t have one.
They built Roman into a colossal heel, and now there’s nobody big enough to dethrone him.
Pip:
John Cena? The Rock?
Chewie:
You can’t give the belt to part-timers. They need to anoint the next great babyface — and I don’t think they know who that is.
🎲 Rumble Predictions
Chewie:
Charlotte Flair is in the Women’s Rumble. She wins it. That’s my call.
Pip:
Agreed.
Chewie:
On the men’s side? My sleeper pick is Kevin Owens.
Pip:
That’s a strong pick.
Chewie:
Johnny Knoxville being in the Rumble? I hate celebrity entries. It kills the mystique.
🎬 Scream (2022) Review – SPOILERS
Chewie:
I went and saw Scream. Up arrow or down arrow?
Pip:
Up arrow. I’d recommend it.
Chewie:
Same. If you’re a fan of the franchise, absolutely recommend.
This is essentially a retelling of the original — like The Force Awakens was to A New Hope. It’s a “requel.”
Pip:
It comments on horror movies the same way the original did — but horror has changed. Kids today don’t care about Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers the way we did.
Chewie:
If you haven’t seen the previous Scream movies, this one won’t hit the same. You need that history to care.
🔪 Does Scream Need to Continue?
Pip:
I keep asking — why are we doing this?
What story is left to tell?
Chewie:
If they make another one, the only real play is bringing back Stu. And even then — does it matter?
At some point, it’s okay to be done.
Pip:
Hollywood doesn’t like to stop. But sometimes you should.
🎤 Closing Thoughts
Chewie:
Royal Rumble tomorrow. WrestleMania season begins. Scream was solid, but maybe it’s time to let it rest.
This has been the 411 From 406.
Pip:
Adios.
