Got Snow Services – 2021 / 2022 Snow Removal Scam

I was hoping to never have to write another post about this topic. But sadly with the winter weather we’ve had in Northeast Ohio lately this scammer seems to be back on the scene after a couple of years on my radar. Not sure if he’s taken a break for the last few years or what.

I will preface this post with this statement: We have not personally worked with this company since the winter of 2008.  That said, I cannot stand scammers thinking they can take people’s money and get away with it. I will continue to do anything I can to put a stop to it.

Got Snow Services Snow Removal AKA Got Snow Services is at least the 3rd name this company has been known by.  In 2008, we were personally taken by this scam when they were going by the name of The Snowplow Guys.  You can read the full history here. To make a long story short, this company took our money and never showed up to perform the contracted work.

I have written posts the last couple of years warning people about this potential scam. Each and every year I have received SEVERAL comments and follow up communications that they have had the exact same issues. I was tagged in a Facebook post by a friend who knows of my history and it appears this company is back at it again. Here’s this year’s flyer:
